TriPeaks Solitaire
Clear three overlapping peaks by playing cards one rank higher or lower onto the waste pile. A fast-paced solitaire variant with high win rates.
Objective
Clear all 28 cards from the three peaks by playing them onto the waste pile.
Setup
28 cards are dealt in three overlapping pyramids (peaks). The bottom row of 10 cards is face-up; the 18 cards above are face-down. One card is placed face-up as the starting waste pile card. The remaining 23 cards form the stock pile.
How to Play
Playing cards: Click any exposed face-up card to play it onto the waste pile. A card can be played if it is exactly one rank higher or lower than the current waste pile card. Suit does not matter.
Wrapping: Unlike Golf Solitaire, ranks wrap around — you can play a King on an Ace and an Ace on a King.
Exposed cards: A card is exposed when both cards covering it from the row below have been removed. Bottom row cards are always exposed.
Uncovering cards: When a face-down card becomes exposed (both its children are removed), it automatically flips face-up and becomes playable.
Drawing: When no card can be played, click the stock pile to draw a new card to the waste pile.
Winning
You win when all 28 board cards have been removed. If the stock runs out and no moves remain, the game is over.
Strategy Tips
Look for chains. The best plays create a chain of consecutive moves. Before playing a card, check if its removal will expose another card you can play next.
Clear peaks evenly. Try to work on all three peaks rather than focusing on just one. This creates more options as you expose cards higher up.
Save stock draws. Don't draw from stock until you've exhausted all possible board plays. Every stock draw costs you one of your 23 extra chances.
Think about face-down cards. Removing bottom-row cards exposes face-down cards above. Prioritize moves that reveal the most hidden information.
Use wrapping strategically. The K-A wrap gives you more flexibility. A King or Ace on the waste pile is not a dead end like in Golf Solitaire.
Use undo to explore. Try different play sequences to find the longest chain before committing.

Is the shuffle fair?
Yes. Every deal uses a deterministic pseudo-random shuffle based on a seed value. The same seed always produces the exact same deal.
Can I replay the same deal?
Yes. Every game has a seed shown below the game board. Share the URL to give someone the exact same deal.
What is the Daily Challenge?
Each day, every player gets the same deal. Complete it to build your daily streak.
What is the win rate for TriPeaks?
TriPeaks is more forgiving than most solitaire variants. Around 90% of deals are theoretically winnable, and experienced players can win 50-60% of their games.
What's the difference between TriPeaks and Golf Solitaire?
Both use the ±1 rank mechanic, but TriPeaks has three pyramid peaks with face-down cards (like Spider), while Golf has seven flat columns all face-up. TriPeaks also allows King-Ace wrapping.
Is my data stored or shared?
No. All stats and preferences are stored locally in your browser. Nothing is sent to any server.
